PROOF PRODUCERS

Only a fool contests facts! No one in his or her right senses argues with reality. In a court of law, admittable evidences are those founded on verifiable, valid, facts. Yet what is considered reality usually depends on the perception of the observer.
At the time of Jesus’ ministry on earth, Israel was under the colonial rule of the Roman Empire. Rome was like the world’s super power of that time, so the Israelites expected the Messiah to emancipate them from subordination to the Roman rule. Their expectation of a messiah was predicated on this mentality.
When Jesus came on the scene, and his disciples witnessed Jesus display extraordinary abilities, many of His disciples thought he was the one to emancipate Israel from the Roman rule. They knew he could use His supernatural power to do so.
The resurrection of Jesus from the dead was the climax of all His miracles, so His disciples were astonished and they asked him ‘Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?’ (Acts 1:6). He replied them saying ‘It is not for you to know the times or the
seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power’.
The disciples were only concerned about physical emancipation but Jesus came to do much more; He came to give us spiritual liberty that will transform us into deliverers ourselves ...John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever, even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
The word martyr is presently used for anyone who lays down his life for His faith, but the original usage was for a person who produced proofs of existence of another person. So when Jesus said, that ‘ye shall be witnesses’ (Acts 1:8), what he meant was that we shall be living proofs of his resurrection power. Our lives ought to testify that Jesus is alive. There is no better way to prove that Jesus is alive, than to live like Jesus lived. We are to have the Jesus kind of Results. We are living testimonies of Jesus. Our finances, businesses, families and all areas of our live so that our lives should be living proofs that Jesus is alive.
Jesus said ‘ye shall do..’Christianity is more than a religion, it is Truth. It is not ordinary but supernatural living, by the Power of the Holy Ghost. Many religions and idol worship exist today with demonic powers backing them up. They also can display supernatural powers, but none can match the power of our God.
In Exodus 7:8-12 there was a display of power when pharaoh’s magicians threw their rods on the ground and they turned into snakes. Aaron threw His rod to the ground and it turned to a snake too. The power of the magicians was of no match to the power of God though it appeared similar initially. Moses’ snake swallowed all the other snakes.
Another astonishing story is seen in Act 8:9-24. A certain sorcerer named Simon boasted of his magical powers; he even called himself the great one. He bewitched the people of Samaria with his lying wonders. Philip came preaching the gospel in Samaria, the people believed the Gospel and also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When Simon the sorcerer saw this, he was amazed at what the apostles did. He realized the great power that exists in Christianity; it is the power of the Holy Ghost.
In John 14:12, we find the key to living this amazing life of authentic Christianity. Jesus says ‘he that believeth on me, greater works shall he do!’ Believing is a prerequisite to doing. Every believer who has faith is a qualified miracle worker. You are a living proof of the resurrection of Jesus. Mark 16:15 Jesus says ‘this sign shall follow them that believe’.
To ‘Follow’ means to accompany or to go alongside with. Signs and wonders are part of believers. When you show up, signs show up. Wherever you show up, whether in your business place, family or neighbourhood, signs show up. Exercise your faith in this reality. What Jesus did, you can do also. This is your testimony as a believer.
Jesus said we will do greater works because He was going to the Father. He said ‘and I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever’’. That comforter is the person of the Holy Spirit. The anointing of the Holy Spirit upon the life of Jesus is the reason why he had tremendous miracles in His ministry. The bible says God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power and he went about doing good…’’.
Before the anointing came on Jesus, he did not performed miracles. In his time, there were even people bearing the name Jesus. What separated him from every other person was that He was ‘The Christ’: the anointed one and His anointing.
At His baptism, the Holy Spirit came upon Him and from then on the miraculous began to happen through His ministry, He healed the sick, raised the dead, turned water to wine and fed multitudes with little. All these were possible because of the Power of the Holy Spirit working in Him.
If you are born again, the same Holy Spirit that came upon Jesus is dwelling in you today, and because of this anointing, we can do the miraculous. The power is made available from within. Our lives ought to be proofs of this living truth. Every believer is anointed, and should walk by faith in this truth.
Lay your hands on the sick and heal them, raise the dead, lay hands on that dead business and experience the amazing things you can do by the power of the Holy Ghost dwelling in you and remember that the power of the Holy Ghost is not available to pastors, evangelists or apostles alone but also to every believer.
John 14:12 ‘You Shall Ask..’ You have the right to ask anything in the name of Jesus. To ask here in the original greek text means to demand, ask as of right or to command! We have the power of attorney in the name of Jesus. He says you will do and you should ask.
Sometimes, the difference between you and the doing is the asking. The lack of the ability to do is because of the absence of asking. Some believers doubt if they will receive when they ask. The attitude they have is that of unbelief. Jesus didin’t say that when we ask, we might receive. No! He says when we ask, we receive. It’s already a done deal. All you need to do is ask in faith.
Many do not have because they do not ask (James 4:3). Only believe, and you will see the glory of God (Matthew 7:17). You need to understand the power you carry within you. God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. God wants you to walk with the consciousness of the power you carry.
Ø We ask of God to receive answers
Ø We command the devil. We know that the devil tries to harass believers in certain situations, but we command him to let go of that situation in the name of Jesus. Now concerning finances, you ought to know that the money you need is here in this world but the devil is the god of this world, so he sits on the economic system of this World; however when you command him in the name of Jesus, you receive what’s yours. To enjoy the supernatural flow of financial supply in your life, ask the Father and command the devil to take his hands off your money.
Ø Demand that the angels of the Lord bring the money to you. As you do this, angels would go about influencing things for your good. The Bible says angels hearken to the voice of His command (psalm 103:20).They are ALL ministering spirits, waiting on us[Heb 1.14]. Never hold back from asking your heavenly father what belongs to you.
Finally, Jesus told them, ‘in that day, you shall know..’ this kind of knowledge is experiential knowledge. When something is revealed to you in the word of God, it is as real as it has if it has already happened. Sometimes, you just find yourself knowing what you never had a foreknowledge of. This is the Spirit of revelation at work in you.
You begin to manifest what is revealed to you. When you find yourself in a place of need, all you need is a revelation of your prosperity in Christ then you have what you see. Get a revelation from the Word!
However, you need to practice what you see in the Word in order to see results. God reveals secret. In John 5:19-20 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these that ye may marvel’’.
Note that Jesus could only do what he saw the father do. We are like Jesus to God the father. He wants intimacy with us so that he can reveal what he has in mind to do. Prayer is not a monologue but a dialogue. When you pray, God will begin to reveal things to you. When He shows you what to do, make sure you act out what you see and watch your life show proofs and supernatural results.
Now you see you are more than ordinary; you are anointed to do greater works. Ask the father in the name of Jesus, and receive from him as of right, and enjoy a life full of the miraculous.
You are a proof producer!
