Freedom From Poverty

Gal. 3:13KJV
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

2Cor. 8:9KJV
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

When man was created in Eden, God blessed him and gave him dominion over all things, but when man sinned, he fell short of God's glory, he lost his dominion to the enemy and he came under the curse of the law which can be classified into three; sickness, poverty and death. Poverty is a curse, it is a state of being poor, lack of means of providing material needs or comforts
and it is not in God's will that any man should be poor.
God is not poor neither was Jesus poor, the fact that they had to cast lot on his garment tells us that it was more than an ordinary garment.

The one by whom all things were created has all the wealth of the world, but for our redemption, God gave his only begotten son, Jesus left his glory above that he may fulfill the work of redemption on the cross, he died that we may have live, that we may be free from every curse of the law, he became poor that we through his poverty might be rich. Like he took our infirmities, he took our poverty also; he took every curse away and made us new with his blood, gave us access to the father and restored our lost glory.

Christ became a curse for us that we might be free from every curse of the law,for the bible said cursed is any man that hangs on a tree. Jesus was made curse that every curse upon us might be broken. He took our poverty on the cross, he came to redeem us from every ancestral curse that might have being ruling our lives, he was made a curse for us that the blessing of Abraham might be upon us, and as a seed of Abraham, the blessing of God upon Abraham is passed unto us.

It is the ancestral blessing which overrules the ancestral curse. Abraham's blessing is an empowerment to prosper, it is God's will that you prosper and you will prosper. You have a new ancestry which is a blessed ancestry and the power of the spiritual ancestry will destroy the power of the earthly ancestry. The blessing of Abraham upon you surpasses the curse of poverty, you are blessed in Christ, and you cannot be cursed anymore.

Gal 3:29 KJV
And if ye be Christ's, then ye are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

You must get to the place where what is going on around you is determined by what is going on within you, let your situation be determined and ruled by the word in you, be a thermostat christian and not a thermometer christian. A thermometer christian will complain because of his situation, but a thermostat christian will confess blessing in spite of his situation.Your words carry such great power that it affects your situation, whatever you say is what you will get. Confess the word even when your situation does not look like what the word says concerning you.

Get to know who you are in the Christ, let not the people around talk you down because of what you are going through, if only they can see where you are going, they will choose to be friends with you. Rejoice in all things, get to the level where your finance is determined by God's economy and not the earthly economy, build your faith in God's word, such that when they say there is a casting down, you will boldly say there is a lifting up. Regulate your finance with the word of God.

As long as you remain in Christ, the enemy has no right to harass you, there is no ground on which the curse of the law can work against you for Christ made you free, you were blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, and if you were blessed, you are still blessed, once blessed, you remain blessed, you can't be cursed again.

Eph. 1:3 KJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

2Pet.1:3KJV
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

You are blessed in Christ, you have all that pertain to life and godliness. God wants you to prosper, that was why Jesus came to redeem you from every curse of the law. You are redeemed from the curse of the law, you are redeemed from poverty, you are blessed beyond the curse, you are more than this, you are blessed in Christ. Seated on God's right hand, at the place of highest authority. Use your authority in Christ, and confess his blessing in every situation. Remember, Christ has redeemed you from every curse of the law, including poverty. You are blessed.
