THE POWER OF VISION

THE POWER OF VISION Part 1

Hab 2:2-3 KJV
(2)  And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
(3)  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Biblical vision is a glimpse of purpose. Vision means sense of sight. Setting goal for yourself without consultation with God is wrong and it is ambitious. God created
you, and you must not pursue goals without his consent.

Ambition outside of purpose is not vision. Any goal outside the context of purpose is wrong. But if your goals are found in the context of purpose, then you are on the wrong track.

God declares my end from the beginning. So when that end comes to view, that is vision. Vision is a glimpse of purpose. Vision is foresight based on insight with the benefit of hindsight.

Vision is a vivid picture of my God given purpose. Life without a sense of purpose is frustration. The place of purpose is the place of power. In purpose, you are not alone. Vision is a revelation of that purpose.

Sight precedes purpose. Vision brings motion. It is what you see that determines your direction. Vision makes you a victor, not a victim. Vision is the beginning of leadership. When political office holders have no vision, they lead the people nowhere. Don’t vote along religious or ethnic sentiments, vote for people who have vision.
